Postcards. Recent UNESCO arrivals
Recently I started paying closer attention to postcards depicting UNESCO World Heritage Sites, in fact, moving further, I hope to extend my UNESCO collection. I will also try to sort out my existing collection to understand what I already have but my estimation is that I have around 150 sites (out of 1248), so there is still a lot to collect. Postcards stats 2025
In 2025 I started to document all my outgoing mail, mainly not to forget to send postcards and letters to my pen pals and users of the Postcrossing forum, which I am an active member of, but also to see how many cards and where I send. Since the year is over, it is time to evaluate my mail-sending activities in 2025. According to my records, I sent 1053 postcards (and letters) in 2025. Postcards at Lana Christmas Market
This year I visited a Christmas Market in Lana - a village in South Tyrol in northern Italy. Lana is located near Merano and is known for its agricultural surroundings and small-town character. The Christmas market offered decorated stalls, warm food, hot drinks, and a variety of sweets, which are typical features of Christmas markets in South Tyrol. What was special though, was a postcard stand, where everyone could send a custom-made Christmas postcard for free! I took the

Postcrossing Meetup at 140th VERONAFIL Philately Exhibition
Veronafil is a biannual exhibition dedicated to philately, numismatics, postcards, phonecards, small antiques, prints, old books, and military collectibles. It is organized by the Associazione Filatelica Numismatica Scaligera and takes place every May and November at the Verona Exhibition Centre (Veronafiere).
