Books a.k.a armchair travel

It seems like Covid-19, although still here and kicking, became less of an issue. But it is not a reason to stop reading, so I continue this marvellous activity, while sometimes writing reviews on the books I read. Sometimes I also write about bookish places I visit, and share here.

Currently, while Covid-19 is still on the run, a lot of trips had to be canceled and travel plans paused. Ok, it became a bit easier with the vaccination, but as new variants of the coronavirus are appearing, it is better to stay at home. This, of course, is sad, but during the time we are and will spend at home, we can do a lot of useful things, for example, start reading more. It often seems to me that I could read more, and now is the time to make up for missed opportunities!
I am not writing reviews on all the books I read, partly because I am lazy, partly because I don't always have time to write a good one, but I will try to write at least a few words about books I will read in future. Let's call it my challenge, which I gladly accept!
And since each book is a separate world, which we explore through reading the book, and we usually read while lying on the couch or in an armchair, let's call this page "Armchair travel". Who is with me?
