This post is more about pictures than words. So you will find a lot of photos but not so much description.
I have been living in Tbilisi, Georgia for more than half a year now, so it is high time I shared some information about the city.
I will start my insight into the Georgian capital with showing its amazing street art. Tbilisi is indeed a street art city, I haven't been to any other city that has so many of it, I think only Berlin can try to compete with Tbilisi, but I am almost sure that the latter will win.

Not all Tbilisi street art can be viewed as beautiful, some are just plain words, carrying an important message (sometimes, not so much important) from their authors, e. g. I saw the phrase "I wish for the world clean" around Tbilisi a lot. We have all seen this kind of street art, I am not even sure that it can be categorized as such, but I am here to talk about real street art, which makes people stop and admire the work of an artist.

The most common places to find street art works are usually building walls or fences, but underground passages, I would say, are the most grand. The three passages that I like most are the ones under the Baratashvili bridge, the Heroes Square and the passage near the Vake park. Look at the pictures and you will understand why.
The street art under Baratashvili bridge were changed not long ago. When I arrived here in May 2021, it was the first sight that I visited in Tbilisi. It was colourful with works from a lot of artists. Now it is black and white, the pictures having one plot. Honestly, I don't know which I like best. Both are really nice, the only thing I am really sorry about is that the previous masterpieces are gone forever. I also did a video on my Youtube channel about changes to this gallery, it can be found here.
This is how the gallery looked like in May 2021.
And this is how it looks now. The pictures were taken in January 2022.
The Heroes Square is a massive road ring, located near Tbilisi Zoo. Above the ground there is a huge monument, which also looks quite grand, whereas underground you will find a street art gallery that will make you slow down and look at where you are going.
The underground walkway near the Vake park is another marvel - it has three parts: the first depicts Disney's characters, the second - sights from all over the world, the third - famous musicians. I spent quite a lot of time there looking at those beautiful works.
I don't know many names of street artists but one name surely stands out - the works of @goshaart really catch your eye when you wander around Tbilisi. The artist usually draws cats, which is already quite a catchy topic, right?!
His works are usually located closer to the Old Town of Tbilisi, and some of them are bound to be temporary because he draws them on the walls of protection barriers at construction sights, meaning that when the construction is over the barriers will be taken away together with the works of art. Here are the masterpieces which I managed to find so far, but I am not posting everything that I found, there are almost 100 of them, you really need to come to Tbilisi to see them for yourself - it is 100% worth it! But I am wondering how many I still haven't found and will I be able to find them at all.
Here are some of my absolute favourites.

By the way, the author has an account on Instagram, which is obviously @goshaart. I still don't have Instagram but this guy makes me want to create one. :) Also, it is possible to buy paper pictures from him; I haven't done it yet, but I most certainly will.
