SPOILER ALERT: there are some spoilers in the review below.

I bought the book at the Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul to have something to read on the plane. The cover of the book caught my eye: pictures in bright pink colours placed like in a comic book suggested the book to be a light read - just what I needed on a 3-hour flight. When I read the summary on the back of the book it confirmed my thoughts - the book was about a love story between an actor and a writer, such books although having some suspence, they are usually fast and pleasant reads.
I started reading the book as soon as the plane took off, I continued reading it on the trains from the airport to my destination town and I finished it the following day. And I must say I was intrigued by the story. Not to give too many details, I will just say that the love story between the main characters is not without certain drama but it is interesting to learn how it will end. There is also quite a steamy and really well-told love scene at the end of the book that quoting Lanie Parish from the TV series "Castle" "had me reaching for ice water".
Besides the plot, I should mention that the book is written in a particular way: flashbacks are interweaved with current events, there are also interviews and blog posts embedded in the plot - which makes it hard to follow the story at first. I can't say I liked the way the author chose to write the book, I prefer a traditional "start at the beginning, finish at the end" type of story telling, but I managed to follow the plot in the end. In general, it was a good choice for a plane read, light and breezy, nothing too complicated but intriguing enough to read till the end. I would give it a solid 3 out of 5, but as the book involves books and the life of writers, which I always enjoy, my final rating goes up to 4.
